Volunteer with the BLV community newspaper
The BLV is run entirely by volunteers and WE NEED YOU!
If you have some spare time and would like to volunteer with the BLV, please get in touch by emailing convenor@benlediview.org
We need volunteers to help with all sorts of things from advertising to delivery, to taking photos and writing articles.
Whatever your age or interests, we'd love to hear from you!
Our current team of volunteers are a friendly bunch with a variety of knowledge, experience and skills.

Editorial Team
John Nelson and Mary Buckland collate all the articles from individuals and organisations in Callander, then assemble them into order for publication. John has overall responsibility for pulling it all together and making it fit…and somehow it works!
Hilary Gunkel and Olga Watkins are our proof readers and Hilary also compiles the What’s On pages and collects hand delivered articles from our collection box at the local library.
Writers and Photographers
We also have correspondents who write a column for each issue (e.g. the book club review and one-off events).
Subscribers
Milan Cech is our subscriptions manager. He sends out letters when subscriptions are due for renewal and each month posts out about 40 copies.
Milan also emails electronic copies of the BLV to advertisers and anyone who asks to be added to the list.

Distribution Team
The Ben Ledi View is delivered free of charge to all households and businesses in Callander. This requires a large team of volunteers who are organized by Alan Davidson. Alan facilitates receipt and distribution of the issue each month, so if you'd like to help out on a standby or regular basis please contact him via

WE ARE IN URGENT NEED OF MORE VOLUNTEERS TO HELP MANAGE OUR DISTRIBUTION TEAM. & WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO ACT AS TRUSTEES FOR THE BLV. IF YOU HAVE A FEW HOURS A MONTH TO SPARE PLEASE LET US KNOW.
